Summer Splash 2010

Vacation Bible School (or as we call it at our church - Summer Splash) was a HUGE success this year! It was amazing to think that this time last year I was 8 months pregnant and doing my best to not stress out in fear that it would induce me into labor. It is amazing how fast the year went by. Well this was the first year that we didn't borrow or buy a curriculum but it was written and designed by people at our church. From the graphics to the skits to the activity books - everything was AMAZING!!! It was a lot of hard work but it paid off when there were 1,030+ children happy at one time. And what made it even better was that 38 children made decisions to follow after Christ and we raised over $2100 for our Outreach project. God is so good!

Grandma Kim came down for the week to help out with Emma! Which was seriously amazing! It made it so easy to just focus on the event at church knowing that Emma was in such great hands! In this picture they are completely matching - red bows and all!

Emma and I with Jana Alayra! I seriously love her! She does our family night concert each year and does a fantastic job of getting all of the kids excited!

All in all it was a great year and I can't wait until next year which I'm sure will be here before we know it!
